Earthsong

The Earthsong Camp was birthed by John Bowker and Angie Pinson who were inspired by the Unicorn camps in England and wanted to bring a similar magic to Ireland. In 2010 Earth Song will be in its 4th year and John continues to oversee the camp together with a core group. A space where we can spend a week in a private and wonderful setting working with beautiful music and teachings from the cultures of the world.

"Our aim is to help create a space where we can learn and remember how to be sensitive to our own needs and the needs of our neighbours and our environment. Where we can encourage a sense of wild playful creativity and peaceful spiritual awareness, exploring wonderful music, song, dance and wisdom from many cultures"

The New 8 day Earth Song Healing Drum Camp

Building on the long standing tradition of the ‘6-dayer’, 2010 sees the beginning of a new Tribal Spirit event – The New 8 day Earth Song Healing Drum Camp. This event is limited to 100 adult places, and is aimed at those with more experience of tribal spirit weekend workshops or the earth song camps. The camp will be designed to give participants the space for deep healing and ritual while camping on the land in community – a kind of ‘boghill meets earthsong’ vibe. The camp will be co-lead by John Bowker and other members of the tribal spirit team, including Anet Moore and Rachel Parry. It will include: sweat lodges, heart songs and chanting, tribal spirit drumming, dance of life etc. Excellent camping facilities will be provided including hot showers! The camp will be held in Co Tipperary, with the exact location only given to those coming on the camp to ensure privacy.
