University Concert Hall’s Participation & Learning Programme: Africa Day Project

Each May up to 120 young people from Limerick secondary schools take part in a series of preparation workshops learning powerful African rhythms and songs. On the day itself they are brought together in a fantastic spirit of collaboration and celebration to create a gigantic drumming sound. Check out the photos and video on the media page.
